Fashion Show with Google

Fashion Show with Google from Robbin Waldemar on Vimeo.

Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo created a 30 second TV commercial for the launch of the new brand campaign ‘more with Google’ in Japan. It features the Image Search functions ‘sort by color’ and ‘similar images’ and shows that you can do more with Google than you imagined.

This is an awesome add. A great blend of technology and interaction.

3 Part Series

By now, many of you have seen or heard about the Dave Carroll YouTube video and how United Airlines' baggage handlers damaged David's Taylor guitar last year.  It once again demonstrates the power of authenticity, creativity and compelling content to grab attention and send PR executives into a tizzy.

United first only spoke to reporters, but key social media channels were neglected.  The numbers of YouTube views and Twitter tweets are just staggering.

Numerous traditional media outlets covered the story (LA Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune), but it was YouTube, Twitter and blogs that fueled the flame.

Number of views as of today on David's YouTube video:  9,381,683 views

It's a great story of how a little guy took on the indifferent corporate giant, but the numbers behind the story are just as interesting.  And so is the late corproate response parody from United.

Cool Stop Motion Video | The Pen Story

Here is a very cool video and concept that was created using stop motion.

"This is the PEN Story in stop motion. We shot 60,000 pictures, developed 9,600 prints and shot over 1,800 pictures again. No post production! Thanks to all the stop motion artists who inspired us."

This is also a shameless plug for Kats blog where I found the video
